'The girl child usually enters the trade of sex at a very early age. The boys grow up to become pimps. Our purpose is to give them basic primary education so that they can have alternative choices in life and also bring an attitudinal change in their mindset.'
With this conviction in place, Nirvanavan Foundation works within the traditional villages of prostitution in the state of Rajasthan, India. The good people of the foundation have established ten schools in the Nat and Kanjar Communities and work with the villagers in order to cultivate an environment of change for the sake of their children.
